A set up of a local social enterprise fish farm FC112E in Singapore waters is envisaged to provide this physical platform where volunteers, fisher folks, researchers and stakeholders can come together.  The synergies and work experienced on a live working fish farm will no doubt bring resolute and better practical help to poor regional fishing villages in the future endeavors.

To raise awareness, consolidate expertise and wean experience through a working fish farm, the Community of Practice (CoP) will be materialized.  This social enterprise fish farm located in Singapore waters where conditions are by and large “controllable”.  Starting with volunteers, pioneer generation and anyone willing to lend a hand, this social enterprise fish farm serving as a “Community of Practice” will greatly enhance the livelihoods of poor fishing villages in coastal regions in Asia.  In small but bold steps, collectively these efforts will bring about a sea change in the lives of many.

We sometimes run trainings on fisheries improvement, aquaculture basics and outdoor skills called UnChartered with R+ Usually we take a group of 10 pax to Pulau Ubin and the seas around Changi in the mornings (0700-1100), rounding up with a sumptious seafood lunch on the island.

We hosted Channel News Asia (CNA) Growing Wild 3 (project castaway) 2025 and experimented with them on floating systems. Documentary film crews and promotion of local seafood bloggers, influencers and hosts are frequent guests with us at sea.
